Why Reusable Bags?

 Why Reusable Bags?

The Numbers Speak for Themselves:

* 500 billion plastic bags used each year (EPA stat from 2003).

* Up to 1,000 (or more) years for plastic bags to biodegrade in landfills.  Yes, the bags are biodegradable
(eventually). However, as plastic bags bio-degrade, they break down into smaller, more toxic polymers which contaminate soil and waterways that enter our food chain.
